Artist / Instructor / Muralist Dominick DePaolo has been a freelance artist for over 40 years, an illustrator for the U.S. Navy, and an art teacher at Prairie State College. The Long Grove Art School has recently relocated from the retail district of Long Grove to a nearby studio location in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

The school offers 1-day workshops, 4-week classes & private lessons in Oils, Watercolors, Acrylics and Cartooning

Students are provided with all the supplies needed to complete the classes. No additional expenses! Art instructor Dominick DePaolo shares his wet-on-wet technique to send every student home with a finished canvas after EACH class session.


Beginners will be surprised at the results of even their very first class. Dominick DePaolo's proven teaching techniques help you to quickly create art that you can be proud to display.

Experienced students can tap into DePaolo's years of experience in teaching to move their art to a new level.

Art Classes on DVD

Dominick DePaolo is now offering Art Classes on DVD! Have the same instruction at home as you would receive at the Long Grove Art School.

DVDs provide step-by-step instructions for setup and full step-by-step instruction for finished paintings in Oil, Watercolor or Acrylic.  Each DVD will cover one painting start to finish and cost just $19.95.
